Okay, I took some mushrooms satayed in olive oil, butter and garlic, finished with heavy cream and dill. Placed them on a slice of sour dough. Topped with 2 slices of vintage cheddar and 1 marble slice. Placed on BGE to melt cheese and toast bread. Once cheese was melted, topped with another slice of sour dough slathered with dill pickle mustard. Turned out frigging awesome.

Looks delicious. It’s like an upscaled grilled-cheese.

It’s “sautéed”, but it’s an honest mistake. Actually sounds pretty damn delicious!

    Nowt wrong with that, matey!

Older (probably non American) generations grew up eating meat only once a day and having other foods just like this for lunch.

I’m not a veggo or vegan, but I don’t eat a lot of meat because other things are yummier, cheaper and less work.

This particular combo is a long time favourite of mine. You can also do it open faced under the oven grill (broiler) so it goes all bubbly and yummy.

That’d be banging with a bit of French onion soup
